Libya’s National Center of Meteorology anticipates cold wave to continue on most areas of the north, with rainy weather and snow all expected in the east, specially in the Green Mountain.

The center warned that heavy rains will cause flooding in some local valleys. It appealed to locals living in those areas to be careful.

The center stated that the minimum temperatures during the night and early morning are expected to be below zero degrees Celsius over the mountainous and desert areas.
