Discussion of bottlenecks in the health sector and the employment issue in the Gulf of Sirte

Sirte – A meeting took place in Ras Lanuf. It was chaired by the Assistant Commander of the Ras Lanuf Joint Chamber. The discussion focused on bottlenecks in the health sector. These issues affect the Sidra Gulf Municipality. Healthcare facility needs were also addressed. Several security and service officials attended. Members of the municipal council were also present.

The Dean of Sidra Gulf Municipality participated. The Director of the General Intelligence Office was present. The Director of Oil Facilities Security also attended. This director is from the Internal Security Agency. The Director of the Military Intelligence Office joined the meeting. The Head of the Municipal Guard Service Center was there. The Director of Sidra Gulf Health Services Department participated. The Director of the Municipal Healthcare Office also attended.

Attendees discussed the spread of infectious diseases. These diseases are prevalent among unregistered workers. They noted the lack of a specialized center. This center would combat illegal immigration. The center is needed within the municipality. This situation creates significant health challenges. It also poses security challenges.

The meeting concluded with a decision to form a committee. This committee will consist of specialists and experts. The Municipal Dean will be responsible for its formation. Its mission is to inspect public and private medical institutions. It will monitor these institutions. The committee will ensure equipment meets approved technical standards. It will also verify compliance with health standards.

Attendees emphasized stricter oversight procedures. They stressed zero tolerance for violations. These violations affect citizens’ health. They affirmed that courtesies must not compromise public health.
