Tripoli – A regional knowledge exchange forum for North African countries began in Tripoli on Tuesday. High-level officials attended the event. Dr. Saadeddin Abdul Wakil, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, participated. Dr. Haider Al-Sayeh, Director General of the National Center for Disease Control, was also present. Representatives from the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) joined. This scientific event will last three days. It celebrates a continental achievement. Scientific sessions and knowledge exchange with participating delegations continue Wednesday. The program concludes on Thursday. The Africa CDC delegation and accompanying groups will visit the center’s technical departments. They will observe work mechanisms. They will also review field readiness from the ground.
