Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stressed the need to work to preserve the unity and sovereignty of Libya, and push for holding presidential and parliamentary elections.
The two sides also called for preserving Libyan institutions and strengthening the role of the security authorities in combating terrorism.
