Ambassador of the European Union to Libya, Jose Sabadell, said that elections are the only way out of the current crisis in Libya, after meeting in Tripoli with the Chair of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad al-Sayeh.
“My meeting with HNEC Chair, Imad al-Sayeh, focused on real ongoing progress towards elections and the strong support of the Libyan people by the international community,” Sabadell tweeted on Tuesday.
“Elections are the only way out of the current crisis,” he stressed.
