Extra-High Voltage Line Crews Perform Urgent Maintenance on the Marawah Al-Tamimi Circuit

Marawah – Derna’s high-voltage line maintenance teams carried out urgent maintenance work on the Marawah – Al-Tamimi No. (1) 220-kilovolt power transmission circuit, which included replacing a worn-out jumper and installing a new hanger to enhance the stability of the electrical grid and ensure the continuity of supply to citizens. This was in response to an emergency technical issue detected inside the Al-Tamimi substation, and under the supervision of the Higher Committee for Resolving the Electricity Crisis. The maintenance was completed in record time and according to the highest standards of safety and quality, as part of a series of emergency and scheduled maintenance works to enhance the performance of the electricity transmission system in the region.
