Brega Petroleum Marketing Company confirmed the entry of the fuel tanker “Anwar Al-Nasr” to the port of Tripoli, loaded with more than 32 million liters of gasoline, to begin distribution operations to all fuel stations, including the Al-Jabal and Batin Al-Jabal regions.
The fuel tanker “Eastcosta” also entered the port of Misrata, loaded with 40 million liters, to continue distribution operations to fuel stations in the region.
Regarding distribution in the Western Region, the company is facing a problem beyond its control due to the closure of the Zawiya oil depot by protesters over a dispute within one of the distribution companies, which has led to a halt in operational activities. Elders and dignitaries of the city of Zawiya are making efforts to resolve the issue, while the company has asked the relevant authorities to intervene to resume work at the depot.
