Tripoli – The General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture participated, Sunday. It attended the extraordinary meeting of the Union of Arab Chambers. The meeting was held at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States. The Union was represented by its Chairman of the Board of Directors, the General Manager, and the Union’s Foreign Trade Advisor. This high-level Arab participation aimed to discuss economic developments in the Arab region. It also addressed their repercussions on the private sector.
During his speech, the Union’s Chairman emphasized the importance of strengthening joint Arab action. He stressed the need to intensify coordination among Arab Chambers of Commerce. This supports the stability of Arab economies and addresses regional and international challenges. He also highlighted the pivotal role of the private sector in driving development.
This meeting sought mechanisms to deal with current variables. It also explored prospects for joint Arab economic cooperation in the upcoming phase.
