Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias renewed his country’s criticism of the maritime deal signed with Libya, under the government of former Prime Minister Fayez Al-Sarraj, and Turkey in 2019.
In a speech during his participation in the annual General Assembly of the Business and Industries Association in Peloponnese and Western Greece, Dendias deemed the deal as “unlawful and illogical.”
The Greek diplomat expressed his regret for the “hostile approach” and “false allegations” promoted by Ankara against his country, accusing the latter of ignoring the rights of Crete by signing the deal with Libya.
