Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR), Aguila Saleh, discussed with the acting Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) , Masoud Suleiman, the Corporation’s operating mechanism and the challenges it faces.
The meeting, held at Saleh’s office in the city of Qubbah, addressed the most prominent obstacles hindering the sector’s progress.
The meeting also reviewed the general situation of the oil sector, the level of production, and the difficulties facing the Corporation in implementing its development projects and plans to increase production.
During the meeting, Suleiman affirmed that the National Oil Corporation is operating as required, emphasizing the importance of providing the necessary support to ensure the sector’s development and growth.
