Hammad held an extensive meeting in Ghat. It was with dignitaries and municipalities of the Southwest. They discussed services and development projects.
Libyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Ahmaid Houma, attended the extensive meeting. Prime Minister Osama Hammad chaired this meeting. Balqasem Haftar, Director General of the Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund, was also present. They met with dignitaries, elders, and mayors from Ghāt, Al-Oweinat, Al-Barakat, and Tehalah municipalities. Representatives from youth components also joined. This meeting was part of the Prime Minister’s inspection visit to Ghāt.
Other attendees included Abubakar Al-Zawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Local Government. Jibril Al-Badri, Head of the National Development Agency, participated. Hatem Al-Oraibi, Director of Projects at the Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund, also attended.
Attendees discussed the general situation in the region. They explored ways to enhance security and service stability. Challenges facing municipalities were also a key topic. These included infrastructure, health services, education, and roads. Sustainable development and improving citizen services were also addressed.
Development projects planned by the Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund were reviewed. This review was based on a comprehensive field assessment of actual needs. It was coordinated with municipal councils and dignitaries. This aims to ensure a direct development impact.
