Benghazi – The Minister of Interior, Major General Issam Abu Zariba, accompanied by the Ministry’s Undersecretary, Major General Faraj Qaim, met on Monday with the first batch of members of the General Administration of Central Support before their departure to the Republic of Belarus, as part of a training program aimed at enhancing security skills and competencies.
During the meeting, the Minister stressed the importance of the members presenting an honorable image of the Ministry of Interior and the Libyan state, while adhering to the highest standards of discipline and responsibility. He noted that the training program is an opportunity to develop security capabilities and enhance performance within the country’s security institutions.
This deployment comes with the support of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, following the signing of a security memorandum of understanding with the Republic of Belarus last June, as part of strengthening security cooperation and developing the security sector in Libya.
In a separate context, the Minister of Interior honored the head of the Dignitary and Public Protocol Security Agency, Major General Abdul Rahman Al-Jareh, in recognition of his outstanding efforts and contributions to supporting the Ministry’s tasks and enhancing security cooperation.
