Abdullah Blihaq is the official spokesperson for the House of Representatives. He stated that members from the House of Representatives and the High Council of State met today. The meeting took place on Thursday at the House of Representatives Diwan branch in Tripoli. They discussed a draft law to establish the “Libya Industrial Development Fund.”
The Council’s spokesperson clarified details of the meeting. Ayman Saif Al-Nasr attended. He is a member of the Economy and Investment Committee of the House of Representatives. Abdul Nasser Bin Nafea also attended. He is a member of the Energy Committee of the Council. Several members of the High Council of State were present. Representatives from the Businessmen’s Council also participated.
Blihaq noted the meeting’s agenda. Discussions covered the Fund’s objectives and proposed strategy. They addressed the Fund’s role in supporting industrial and spatial development. The Fund aims to boost the national economy. It will also contribute to integration among various Libyan regions. This supports the industrial sector. It also helps achieve sustainable economic development.
The meeting concluded with the preparation of a draft law. Related documents were also prepared. These will be presented to the House of Representatives’ Economy and Investment Committee.
