Engineer Belqasim Haftar, Director General of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, and his accompanying delegation participated in the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative conference, held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, from October 27 to 30 under the theme “The Key to Prosperity: Unlocking New Growth Horizons.”
The conference is considered one of the most prominent global economic events, bringing together leaders, officials, and entrepreneurs from more than 146 countries to discuss the future of investment and sustainable development.
International Meetings
The Fund reported that Engineer Belkacem Haftar’s participation included holding a number of meetings with international figures and heads of global companies. During these meetings, they discussed opportunities for cooperation and investment in reconstruction and development projects in Libya, as part of the Fund’s commitment to enhancing Libya’s presence in international forums and opening up to global partnerships that support the reconstruction and development process.
The Fund’s participation in the conference affirmed the importance of highlighting investment opportunities in Libya and opening channels for cooperation with international institutions and companies, thereby contributing to advancing reconstruction efforts and achieving sustainable development.
