The UN’s Deputy Envoy for Political Affairs, Stephanie Khoury, affirmed that the economic and political situation in Libya can tolerate no further delay, stressing that the decision must be in the hands of the Libyans.
She added in a statement to Almasar TV that the Special Envoy announced the roadmap with the participation of all Libyan frameworks, including the House of Representatives and the High Council of State, emphasizing that the two councils bear a historic responsibility before the people to reach solutions.
Khoury explained that the structured dialogue includes four main tracks: security, economic, national reconciliation, and governance, and aims to build a broader consensus that contributes to the stability of Libya and the progress of the political process.
The Deputy Envoy anticipated the participation of about 120 Libyan figures in the structured dialogue, representing various components, to provide recommendations on the four tracks as a prelude to unifying visions and exiting the transitional phase.
