Kouni: Deliberately postponing elections will cause discord and bloodshed among Libyans
Vice-President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Moussa al-Kouni, said Saturday that deliberately postponing the elections would be an added reason to the discord and bloodshed among Libyans.
Al-Kouni considered in a tweet that the ballot boxes would have been a reason for reunification and resolving the differences among Libyans.
He attached his tweet with a video clip of a demonstration in the center of Tripoli refusing to postpone the elections.
The demonstrators roamed the streets of the Libyan capital stressing their refusal to postpone the elections that were scheduled to take place on Friday.
They demanded the exit of those who described them as “obstructors of the elections” from the scene.

The demonstrators announced their adherence to the new date proposed by the High National Elections Commission (HNEC) to hold the elections on January 24.
