Comprehensive maintenance work began on Friday at Al-Jalaa Hospital for Surgery and Accidents in Benghazi, under the supervision of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund and with follow-up from the hospital’s administration.
The implementing companies have started the first phase in the men’s orthopedics department, with the administration confirming that medical services will continue to be provided at full capacity, as the maintenance is being carried out in partial, gradual stages to ensure that operations are not interrupted.
The hospital’s General Manager, Jumaa Al-Rishi, stated that the maintenance plan will continue for a full month, implementing the directives of the General Director of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, Engineer Belgacem Khalifa Haftar. He emphasized that this initiative aims to improve the hospital’s infrastructure and elevate the standard of health services provided to citizens.
