Engineer Belqasim Haftar, Director General of the Development and Reconstruction Fund of Libya, received today Jeremy Berndt, Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Libya.
The meeting emphasized continued cooperation in following up on the outcomes of the recent U.S.-Libya Development and Reconstruction Forum held in the United States. They also discussed preparations for the second edition of the forum, scheduled to take place in Benghazi in the coming months.
Additionally, the meeting addressed cooperation in development, reconstruction, training programs, and support for students sponsored by the Fund to study in the United States, reflecting a shared commitment to enhancing stability and sustainable development in Libya.
