Libya records over 1,300 new cases and 12 deaths of COVID-19

3845 people test positive for COVID-19, 31 others dead in Libya

The Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announced recording 1,373 new cases of COVID-19, including 128 critical cases.

NCDC said 3,108 people had recovered, 12 others died, and the percentage of positive cases reached 26.3% of the total 5209 samples analyzed.

10 deaths were recorded in the western region, and 2 in the eastern region, the Center said in a statement.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Libya  since the emergence of the pandemic to 489,940, including 32,844 active cases, 450,874 recoveries, and 6,222 deaths, according to NCDC.
