Libya’s Ministry of Oil and Gas, the National Oil Corporation (NOC), and the international Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) are partnering with the event company IN-VR to organize the Libya-Africa International Gas Forum (LAIGF 2025).
The event is scheduled for December 6-7, 2025, at the Rixos Al Nasr International Conference Centre in Tripoli. It aims to bring together African energy ministers, industry leaders from major oil companies, investors, and service providers for strategic discussions and networking.
The forum’s agenda will focus on key themes for Africa’s gas industry, including:
* Securing investment for new projects.
* Expanding infrastructure and production for exports.
* Integrating new technologies and exploration.
* Ensuring strong local content and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards.
This summit is positioned as a critical response to the global demand for secure energy supplies. It is designed to be a platform for African nations to coordinate and present themselves as a united, attractive source of natural gas. The event will feature high-level attendees, including Libya’s Oil Minister, the NOC Chairman, and executives from international energy firms and financial institutions.
