A group of students from the Libyan National Robotics Team will travel to the United States to compete in the World Robotics Championship to be held in Houston, Texas.
Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Libya, Jeremy Berndt said: “It was a real pleasure to meet this impressive group of students from the Libyan National Robotics Team who will be traveling to Houston, Texas to compete in the World Robotics Championship with support from the Libyan Academy for Telecom and Informatics (LPTIC).
“We are rooting for them. I am certain these gifted young Libyans will play a vital role shaping Libya’s future,” Berndt commented.
“The United States is proud of our partnership on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education with youth in Libya and around the world,” he added.
