A magnitude 5.9 earthquake hit Benghazi and other cities of eastern Libya with various intensities on late Friday night.
The epicenter of the magnitude 5.9 quake, which occurred at 23:31 P.M. (Libya time), was located at central Mediterranean Sea, 189 kilometers north-west of Benghazi with depth of 10 kilometers, according to data by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
