Tripoli – The Housing and Utilities Projects Authority is continuing the implementation of an underground water tank project in the Al-Sani (Abu Issa) area, part of the Zawiya West municipality, as part of efforts to improve the water network infrastructure in the region.
In a statement issued today, Sunday, the Authority confirmed that construction work is proceeding according to schedule, under a contract to build a tank with a capacity of 1,000 cubic meters. It noted that the work includes the installation of main water lines connected to the tank, aiming to enhance water flow and ensure supply stability.
The statement added that the project also includes the construction of main control valve rooms near the tank to increase the operating system’s efficiency and enable operating teams to better control the flow and distribution of water to neighboring residential areas.
According to the Authority, the project aims to strengthen the public water system and provide sustainable water supplies to citizens, especially in light of the increasing need to improve basic services in various regions of the country.
