Tripoli – The General Electricity Company announced on Sunday morning the restart of the Ras Lanuf transformer station (220 kV), after repairing an emergency fault that lasted 96 hours.
A statement issued by the company reported that its technical teams in Benghazi and Ajdabiya successfully completed the repair work, reconnecting and operating the station at full capacity.
In a related context, the company explained that it is currently implementing four feeder lines to connect 11 kV cables to the new Al-Zaghwani station on the electrical grid.
The company noted that these works will help improve the electrical voltage level in several residential neighborhoods, in addition to relieving the load on power stations in the areas of Al-30, Janzour, Sayyad, and Al-Najila.
