Benghazi – A specialized Level Three professional diving training course for members of the General Administration of Coastal Security has been launched in the city of Benghazi at the Eidhah Training Center, following official approval from the Minister of Interior, Major General Issam Bouzriba.

The Director of the General Administration of Coastal Security, Brigadier Abdul-Hafidh Massoud, explained to the Libyan News Agency that the course runs from November 16 to 26 of this year. It aims to develop the capabilities of seven members of the administration and equip them with advanced skills to carry out sensitive maritime tasks, including search and rescue operations and maritime protection under various field conditions.

The Director of the General Administration of Coastal Security also conducted a field visit to the training center today to observe the course’s progress. He attended parts of the theoretical lectures and practical programs that the participants are undertaking, stressing the importance of investing in specialized training to raise the level of readiness and professionalism in carrying out the tasks assigned to Coastal Security members.
