Speaker of Libya’s House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, and Chairman of the High Council of State, Khaled Mishri, are preparing to hold a new round of “Turkish-mediated talks” to address forming constitutional basis for the long-delayed elections, reports London-based newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat.
The U.N. Special Envoy to Libya Abdoulaye Bathily was briefed by the country’s Chairman of High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, on the outcomes of the latter’s meeting Speaker of the House of Representative, Aguila Saleh, which took place in Morocco few days ago.

Libyan Prime Minister Fathi Bashagha said he contacted with Parliament Speaker Aqila Saleh, after the latter’s arrival in Geneva to meet with High State Council Chairman Khaled al-Mishri, where the Prime Minister confirmed his government’s support for the meeting.
