The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Hanna Tetteh, met with the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, to discuss political and economic developments.
During the meeting on Sunday, in the presence of her Deputy for Political Affairs, Stephanie Khoury, the Special Representative reviewed the ongoing preparations to launch the structured dialogue.
She noted that the structured dialogue is a key component of the political roadmap facilitated by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), which aims to create a favorable environment for holding elections, formulating a common vision for the country, and addressing the root causes of the long-term conflict.
