Investigation and arrest teams apprehended a Libyan individual. These teams belong to the Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Agency. The arrest was made on charges of drug trafficking. It occurred in the Gargaresh area of the capital, Tripoli.
The office clarified this was a specialized operation. It followed careful and precise surveillance. The suspect, born in 2001, was arrested. He was apprehended while promoting illicit drugs.
Authorities found 50 bags in his possession. Each bag contained a substance suspected to be cocaine. All necessary legal procedures have been completed. The suspect was referred to the Anti-Narcotics Public Prosecution.
