Sebha – Ali Al-Nalouti confirmed preparations are complete. He is the head of the preparatory committee for the Fezzan Desert Rally. The 2026 rally will launch in mid-January.
Al-Nalouti indicated comprehensive field preparations are in place. These ensure participant safety. This is due to the continuous sponsorship of the event. Lieutenant General Staff Saddam Haftar provides this sponsorship. He is the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
Ali Al-Nalouti, head of the rally’s preparatory committee, clarified. He made the statement to the Libyan News Agency. The rally will begin welcoming participants on January 14. This will take place in Sebha city. Sebha will host the official launch celebration for the rally.
Al-Nalouti added that this year’s rally will feature female participation. There will also be a children’s race. Local, Arab, and international participants are expected. Comprehensive medical and ambulance support will be provided. Accompanying activities and marketing visits are planned. These aim to offer an enjoyable desert experience for all.
