The fifth gas unit at the North Benghazi power plant has been connected to the public electricity grid, in a move aimed at enhancing generation capacity and increasing the efficiency of the electrical system.
The General Electricity Company explained that the operation of the unit contributes to improving the grid’s performance and stabilizing supplies for consumers, as well as supporting the overall stability of the electrical supply.
The company affirmed it is continuing to implement maintenance and development plans for all generation units to ensure the best possible performance of the system and to improve the services provided to citizens.
