The Municipal Guard in the city of Benghazi has launched a comprehensive campaign to eliminate stray dogs, following the death of a child who was attacked in the Ard al-Ahlam area.
This came after confirmed information was received about the child’s death as a result of an attack by stray dogs in the area. The head of the Municipal Guard of the Libyan Government, Major General Abdulmonem Mohammed Al-Mahshhash, issued urgent and strict instructions to the Stray Dog Control Unit to immediately begin implementing its campaigns to eliminate stray dog gatherings and reduce their danger, in order to preserve the safety and security of citizens.
The head of the Municipal Guard, Major General Abdulmonem Mohammed Al-Mahshhash, offered his heartfelt condolences to the family of the child, Ayoub Mohammed Al-Ghanay.
The agency’s leadership has called on citizens to cooperate and immediately report any gatherings of stray dogs.
