Tripoli – The Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Department organized specialized training. This training was for statistics and data collection staff. Laboratory technicians also participated. It was conducted in four consecutive stages. The goal was to enhance efforts to combat tuberculosis. The International Organization for Migration supported this initiative.

The first stage targeted branches in Tripoli, Benghazi, and Sebha. It also included Misrata, Al-Khums, Sirte, and Zliten. Additionally, Ajdabiya and Tobruk branches were covered.

The second stage targeted branches in Tripoli, Sorman, and Sidi Al-Saiyah. Yefren, Bani Walid, and Al-Marj branches were also included.

The third stage focused on branches in Tripoli, Derna, and Tarhouna. Nalut, Al-Jufra, Zwara, and Gharyan were included. Al-Zawiya branch also participated.

The fourth stage was dedicated to laboratory technicians. It covered branches in Tripoli, Tobruk, and Ajdabiya. Misrata and Sebha branches were also included. Al-Kweifiya Hospital also participated.

The center stated these trainings empower participants. They gain a correct understanding of updated forms and reports. Data collection skills from their sources are enhanced accurately.
