U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken confirmed that he agreed with his Egyptian counterpart on the importance of all foreign forces and mercenaries’ withdrawal from Libya.
During a joint press conference with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry in Washington, Blinken stressed the importance of holding the Libyan elections on time.
Shoukry stressed, during his talks with Blinken, the necessity of holding the Libyan presidential and parliamentary elections on their scheduled date at the end of this year, and the importance of all foreign forces and mercenaries exit from Libya, said the Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Ahmed Hafez.
