Al-Bayda – The Jabal al-Akhdar branch of the Food and Drug Control Center, in cooperation with the Municipal Guard, organized an inspection tour of shops selling legumes and spices in the city of Al-Bayda, which resulted in the discovery of several violations related to food storage.
The violations included the presence of food items in the spice shops without informational labels, in addition to expired products, the absence of a rodent and pest control device, and non-compliance with approved standard storage and preservation methods.
The technical violations have been referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal action against the violators.
These campaigns are part of food control efforts to ensure the safety of food products and protect consumer health in the region.
