Tarhuna – The municipality of Tarhuna celebrated World Day for Cultural Diversity on Thursday. The event was organized by the Community Development Department of the Municipal Council in Tarhuna. Members of the Municipal Council and department heads participated. The Libyan Red Crescent and the emergency medical services also took part.
The event took place at Al-Bouayrat School for Basic Education. Participants wore traditional clothing. They celebrated folk customs and traditions. This highlighted Libya’s rich cultural heritage. It also fostered love and cohesion among the city’s residents.
