Abu Dhabi – Al Wathba Stables continued their excellence in endurance races. They secured their eleventh title. This was by winning the 27th edition of the President of the UAE Endurance Cup. The Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba hosted the event. It saw wide participation from 193 male and female riders. They came from various stables within and outside the UAE. The competition reflected the championship’s high standard.
The race was organized by the Emirates International Endurance Village. This was in collaboration with the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation. The distance covered 160 kilometers, divided into six stages. It adhered to approved technical conditions and regulations. The race witnessed strong competition among participants. Excellent organizational efforts contributed to the event’s success. These efforts highlighted its prominence in endurance racing.
Rider Massa Adnan secured first place. She rode the horse “Lassie Sashmo” from Al Wathba Stables. She recorded a time of 6 hours, 02 minutes, and 37 seconds. Her average speed was 26.47 kilometers per hour. She retained the title for the second consecutive time. This confirmed her individual superiority. It also showed Al Wathba Stables’ continued leadership in the championship.
Rider Mariam Ali Qambar placed second. She rode the mare “Hantyusha Larzac” from Al Reef Al Ajban Stables. Rider Kawthar Zeitouni took third place. She rode the mare “Ayan” from Al Wathba Stables.
Musallam Al Amri is the Director General of the Emirates International Endurance Village. He affirmed the high turnout and record participation. These reflect the esteemed technical and organizational status of the President of the UAE Endurance Cup. He congratulated the winners on their exceptional achievements.
