Ajdabiya – The Anti-Narcotics Agency branch has arrested a wanted fugitive. The suspect is a Libyan national identified as “A.M.A.Sh.” and resides in the Ben Jawad area.
The agency’s security media office released a statement on Friday. It said officers found a rifle in the suspect’s possession. They also seized a large quantity of ammunition totaling 536 rounds. Half a kilogram of hashish was also confiscated.
The office noted the arrested man had already been sentenced to five years in prison for his involvement in a previous drug case.
