The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Abdulsalam Aqila, has issued instructions to transfer the Burns Department, along with its entire medical and auxiliary staff, as well as equipment and devices, from Al-Jalaa Hospital for Surgery and Accidents to the Benghazi Medical Center.
This comes in support of the center’s Plastic Surgery Department during the comprehensive maintenance work at Al-Jalaa Hospital, supervised by the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund.
The decision aims to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of specialized healthcare services to burn patients and to maintain the quality of medical services.
It was also agreed to resolve all obstacles facing the center, provide all necessary supplies to ensure efficient workflow, and support medical and auxiliary personnel with service purchase contracts in appreciation of their continuous efforts in serving patients.
