There is an urgent need for a clear economic vision in Libya because the country is at risk of falling behind clean energy global trends due to its dependance on oil, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said on Friday.

Benghazi Mayor Saqr Bojwari met Wednesday with the President of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Libya, Debbie Hurst, Vice President, Ahmed Al-Ghazali, and Chairman of Benghazi Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Munim Al-Saiti.

Libyan Oil Minister, Mohamed Aoun, discussed with the Secretary-General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Haitham Al-Ghais, all issues related to the oil and gas sector, given that Libya is one of the most important basic partners within the organization.
