Benghazi Medical Center appealed to the General Electricity Company today not to cut off power to the Center, holding it responsible, because “its generators are in poor condition, as there are more than 102 intensive care beds depending on respirators,” which need power all the time to function, the Center said on its official Facebook page.

The National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC) reported on Monday that 2,892 new people tested positive for COVID-19, marking 29 percent of the infection rate. The NCDC said that 31 people died of the virus, while 739 have recovered during the same reporting period.
