Benghazi – The diverse training course organized by the Hope Makers Foundation for people of determination concluded thursday, at the foundation’s headquarters in the city of Benghazi, in the presence of a number of supporting figures and institutions.
The closing ceremony was attended by the head of the Hope Makers Foundation, Mohamed Jaouda, and the head of the Friends of People of Determination Association, Mohammed Saeed Al-Werfalli, in addition to the parents of the participating students and a number of representatives from civil society associations.
This training program is part of the community partnership and ongoing cooperation between the Hope Makers Foundation and the Friends of People of Determination Association, aimed at empowering special groups and developing their life and technical skills.
The course targeted a number of members of the Friends of People of Determination Association with Down syndrome, and included theoretical and practical training in various fields, including: life skills, Google programming skills, robotics, and environment and agriculture, under the supervision of specialized trainers.
In their closing speeches, the speakers emphasized the importance of supporting this diligent group and the need to continue organizing similar programs aimed at social inclusion and personal development for people of determination.
The parents expressed their appreciation for this initiative, which boosted their children’s self-confidence and contributed to honing their skills in scientific and interactive ways.
