Consultative meeting between Social Affairs branches in the South to develop administrative performance and services

Ghat – The Office for Women’s Support and Empowerment, part of the Ghat Municipal Council, organized a meeting. Ghat Mayor Ahmed Al-Souqi Amgharo attended the meeting. Members of the Municipal Council were also present. Tahani Al-Aqouri, head of the Social Affairs branch in the Southern Region, participated. The meeting aimed to discuss ways to enhance cooperation. It also focused on coordination among the social affairs branches in the southern region.

Bashir Hussein Al-Nammar, the legal advisor for the branch, attended. Directors of social affairs branches from several areas also participated. These included Ramadan Mohamed Al-Amin from Ghat and Ghazala. Saleha Abdulkarim Mohamed represented Al-Uwaynat. Hafnawi Manour Ali was from Al-Barakat. Dalal Hamdani represented Tehallah. The meeting discussed organizing activities. It also covered training programs. These programs aim to enhance employee efficiency. They also seek to develop administrative performance. The importance of integrated work between regional branches and the ministry was emphasized.

During the meeting, the Mayor of Ghat welcomed the establishment of effective partnerships. He also welcomed joint work. The Office for Women’s Support and Empowerment recommended strengthening training programs. They also advised building capabilities. Supporting social initiatives targeting families and vulnerable groups was another recommendation. The office called for creating a unified system. This system would connect social affairs branches in the greater Ghat municipalities. Such a system would improve coordination. It would also enhance the quality of services provided to citizens.
