Germa – The Education Directorate of Germa Municipality organized a cross-country race. It was part of the 2025-2026 school activity plan. The School Activity Office supervised the event. It collaborated with the Red Crescent Youth and the municipal traffic police.
Nine educational institutions participated in the race. They represented various educational levels in the municipality. Attendees included the Director of Education. The Director of the School Activity Office was also present. School principals and teachers attended the event.
Race distances were set based on participant categories. Primary stage boys ran 2.5 km. Preparatory stage boys ran 3 km. Preparatory stage girls ran 2 km. Secondary stage boys ran 5 km.
Al-Quds School in Germa secured first place. They achieved a score of 1000 points. Tush School ranked second with 550 points. Abrik Secondary School came in third place. They also scored 550 points.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony. Trophies and appreciation certificates were distributed. These went to the winning educational institutions.
The School Activity Office affirmed the event’s success. It serves as an honorable model for achieving school sports goals. It promotes physical health among students. It also fosters a spirit of competition. The event encourages teamwork among them.
