Benghazi – The Libyan Ministry of Electricity announced an update. Technical teams from the electricity company repaired a fault.
This fault had caused power outages in several areas of Benghazi. The repair was conducted under the Ministry’s direct supervision. It also received full support. This support came from the Fund for Development and Reconstruction of Libya.
The Ministry clarified the fault’s cause. It was due to excavation operations. These operations damaged cables. This resulted in a power outage across several vital city areas. The Ministry confirmed electricity service is now gradually returning.
This applies to all Benghazi areas affected by the fault. The Ministry praised the technical teams. They successfully restored electricity in record time.
