Gharyan – The activities of the curriculum-based competition for the High School Certificate (Scientific Section) at the Libya-wide level kicked off this Sunday morning. The competition is supervised by the School Activity Department at the Ministry of Education under the slogan “Tomorrow’s Scientists… Start Today,” and is hosted by the Gharyan Education Directorate, with the participation of 55 male and female students from various parts of Libya.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education of the Government of National Unity, “Mohsen Al-Kabir”, the Director of the School Activity Department at the Ministry, “Salem Abu Aisha”, the Director of the Gharyan Education Directorate, “Onis Ghaniya”, a number of members of the school activity offices from the participating municipal directorates, several educational inspectors from the Gharyan Education Directorate, alongside a number of guests and parents of the students.

The curriculum-based competition was preceded by qualifiers at the directorate and regional levels across the country, which led to the participants qualifying for the final stage.

The final results of the competition are scheduled to be announced today.

On the sidelines of this competition, a ceremony was held at the Al-Quds High School theater with the participation of many schools from across Gharyan, featuring artistic, heritage, and theatrical performances, in addition to a traditional fashion show.
