The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, offered his condolences to the leadership, government, and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the death of the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh, whose passing was announced by the Saudi Royal Court on Tuesday.
The Royal Court’s statement clarified that the funeral prayer will be held after the Asr prayer today at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh, while King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has directed that the funeral prayer in absentia be held at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, and all mosques throughout the Kingdom.
