Benghazi – The Director-General of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, Engineer Belqasim Khalifa, accompanied by the Fund’s Director of Projects, Hatem Al-Oraibi, conducted an inspection field tour of the Al-Hawari Bridge project and the Al-Hawari Road expansion and development project in the city of Benghazi.
Engineer Belqasim reviewed the progress of work and monitored the completion rates of the projects, where he listened to detailed explanations from those in charge of the two projects regarding the implementation stages and the plans set to complete the work according to the specified timelines.
The Fund’s Director stressed the need to accelerate the pace of work and to fully adhere to the agreed-upon technical and engineering specifications to ensure quality execution.
He affirmed that the Al-Hawari Bridge and the adjacent road expansion projects represent a qualitative leap that will directly contribute to alleviating traffic congestion, improving traffic flow, and facilitating citizens’ movement, in line with the Fund’s development plans and sustainable development goals.
