Ziad Dgheim, the Political Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Council, confirmed that President Mohamed al-Menfi is holding consultations and evaluating new ideas to implement his four-part political vision, which he announced in New York, in exclusive statements to “Al-Masar” television.
Dgheim explained that the vision is based on a national inquiry mechanism to resolve contentious issues in the electoral laws and to determine the entity authorized to issue them.
He indicated that the dialogue will be launched under a joint leadership comprising representatives from the five main institutions.
He noted that the Council is working to enhance the role of the city of Sirte, given its status as the headquarters for the National Reconciliation General Conference.
