Benghazi – Muhannad al-Shukri, the Director of the Youth Office of the Benghazi National Council of Elders and Elites, stressed the need to expedite presidential elections, considering them an urgent national entitlement that cannot be postponed. He affirmed his office’s full support for the demands of the Libyan people and the national movement.
In a statement, al-Shukri said that holding elections represents a decisive step to end the political stalemate and enter a new phase of stability and national construction, emphasizing the Youth Office’s support for all popular efforts seeking to achieve this national goal.
Al-Shukri also noted that the role of the United Nations mission must remain outside the framework of influencing the national decision, and that the final solution will come through the efforts and free will of the Libyan people.
The Youth Office affirmed its continued support for all national initiatives that enhance youth participation and contribute to the country’s stability and the building of a democratic and sustainable future.
