Mishbah Douma, Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, stressed the importance of adopting a unified general budget. This budget would curb the depletion of financial resources. It would also ensure the state’s financial sustainability. Furthermore, it would protect cash reserves.
Douma affirmed this in a tweet on his official X social media account. He stated that a unified budget would help direct the country’s resources towards essential services. It would also achieve comprehensive development. This would occur under strict and transparent institutional oversight. It would comply with effective Libyan legislation.
